The mission of OLLIN YOLIZTLI CALMECAC is to investigate, understand and raise awareness of the MEXICAYOTL culture, which flourished in Mexico prior to the arrival of the Spanish in 1492.

Join us as traditional Lakota elders from Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota speak out on the world stage to end the genocide of their people and reclaim their traditional matriarchal leadership. Listen to the elders share their stories of resistance. Learn the truth from Lakota elders and activists in the groundbreaking documentary “Red Cry” about genocide in “America.” Join the growing Grassroots campaign of people around the world to end the genocide of the Lakota people.   Everyone is welcome.

Hip-Hop goes from being just music to a poetry that carries with it the strength and voice of social movements. On this ocassion, spoken word artist Boca Floja with join us in sharing the word COMMUNITY - together with the pre-columbian sounds of Ollin Yoliztli Calmecac's flutes, drums, voice and sounds that come from our ancestral heart.
